Empowering Local Experts to Accelerate Eco-Industrial Transformation

UNIDO is pleased to invite professionals working with industrial zones, companies, and relevant stakeholders in Uzbekistan to a two-day online training workshop on Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) Assessment, scheduled for July 1–2, 2025.

This training is part of the Eco-Industrial Parks (EIP) Project in Uzbekistan (2023–2025), implemented by UNIDO with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and support from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The training will equip national experts with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in applying the UNIDO EIP Assessment Tool, based on the International Framework for Eco-Industrial Parks. Participants will be trained to prepare for the final EIP assessments of the pilot zones—FEZ Urgut and SIZ Mechanic—planned for later this year.
